The Board of Directors is responsible for the management issues of the Central Bank, pursuant to the provisions of its Statutes.

The Board of Directors comprises :

• The Governor of the Central Bank,
• A member appointed by each of the Governments of the WAMU member States,
• A member appointed by the State to ensure the convertibility of the common currency.
